Torre dei Grassi

During my research project I spent days in the BSR’s Library and in the Herziana Library by the Spanish steps reading everything I could on Rome’s medieval urbanism and its subsequent transformation in the early years of the Renaissance. As well as walking the city and talking my way into as many towers as I could - I managed about 10% of those still standing today.
