The works on show are a collaboration between mother and daughter. In 2020, Marie-Agnès Nobecourt began knitting old drawings made by her daughter Lulù Nuti, without letting her know.  Nobecourt reinterpreted the drawings in her own way, using the 'point de Bayeux', a sewing stitch learnt from her aunt, a woman who dedicated her life to studying tapestries made in this technique. The development of this work has generated an exchange of knowledge from mother to daughter, for natural dyes, and vice versa, from daughter to mother, for the history of monkeys in the 19th century, which are the subject of the drawings.
