From Narni, the alternative and later route of the Via Flaminia passed through Terni and Spoleto, where the Bulwer sisters stopped to take many photographs of the landscape, monuments, and architecture. In this photograph of the Church of San Pietro outside the walls of Spoleto, their horse and carriage can be seen parked in front of the façade of the church.
